ISASS stands for International School of Applied Social Sciences. We are an international educational institution duly registered in Barcelona, Spain. We offer Diploma and Degree courses in partnership with different educational institutions in Europe and Asia. We bring our courses wherever our learners are and we work with them based on their learning curves and work phase.

Our curriculum is problem based. We empower our learners to create sound solutions addressing the challenges of their industry or community. In the process, we are enhancing their critical thinking skills, strengthening their self-confidence and developing teamwork abilities. We are interested in what our learners want to improve in their lives or profession.

We have implemented a blended learning approach, which successfully enables learners to work at their own pace and become a part of an international community through real-life interactions with other students and working professionals. An educator monitors the online learning progress per student- making our approach highly personalized.

Mission & Vision

ISASS is building an inclusive community of learners in which welcomes all types of learners without any reservation against age, race, educational background or current stage in their career. What we are offering is for lifelong learners who are striving to be the best versions of themselves and this concept knows no boundaries.

ISASS aims to provide a platform for non-traditional students to hone their talent and showcase their skills. Through our innovative and modern approach to education, ISASS aims to be the “go to” learning institution for lifelong learners at any stage in their educational journey. ISASS aspires to be the premier international school that inspires visionaries and prepares future leaders in their fields who will shape our world for a better tomorrow.

Delivery of Lectures

ISASS implements a blended learning approach. We combine two learning strategies – the flexibility of an online degree with the rewards of face-to-face interaction, either via live online lectures or physical presence). Studies suggest that student achievement was higher in blended learning experiences when compared to exclusively online classes or a face-to-face classroom setting. What makes this model perfect for ISASS is the fact that our learners come from different learning situations. They are either working, already have educational achievements or are located in different countries with little chance to transfer should they decide to further their study. This context is the very foundation of the design of the ISASS curriculum and delivery of our lectures.

Problem Based Curriculum

ISASS’ curriculum is specifically designed to answer the needs of the learners and the community in which they operate. Real world problems are at the center of our curriculum design and implementation. In this scenario, teachers act as moderators, facilitators of learning and academic guides and mentors instead of merely providers of facts. Our learners are trained to identify problems, investigate and then provide creative, up-to-date, practical and applicable solutions.

This strategy is expected to increase the critical thinking and creative skills, motivate the learners to be self-sufficient and self-reliant and apply new knowledge to real life scenarios.
