What is a European Diploma earned through ISASS?

The European Diploma that you will earn from ISASS is a proof of continuing education. It is awarded by UNIES Business School (Germany and Poland). The Diploma certifies that you have acquired a new set of skills and updated your knowledge to be more competitive in your industry.

It is NOT A DEGREE. It is not a Bachelors Degree nor a Masters Degree.

What is the difference between a CERTIFICATE and the European Diploma that ISASS is offering?

The European Diploma that ISASS is offering carries with it SIXTY (60) European credits. This means the learner spent 1,500 learning hours to be highly specialised in the field s/he is studying in. A certificate does not have European credit points.

When we graduate, who will issue the Diploma?

The diploma that the learner will get after s/he finished the course is issued by the UNIES Group of Education. UNIES (https://www.unies.eu) is a learning institution registered in Germany. ISASS has a strong partnership with UNIES for many years and ISASS is acting as its educational centre in Barcelona, Spain.

What is European Credits Transfer System (ECTS)?

The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS) is a tool of the European Higher Education Area for making studies and courses more transparent. It helps students to move between countries and to have their academic qualifications and study periods abroad recognised.

ECTS allows credits taken at one higher education institution to be counted towards a qualification studied for at another. ECTS credits represent learning based on defined learning outcomes and their associated workload.

ECTS enhances the flexibility of study programmes for students. It also supports the planning, delivery and evaluation of higher education programmes. It is a central tool in the Bologna Process, which aims to make national education systems more comparable internationally. ECTS also helps make other documents, such as the Diploma Supplement, clearer and easier to use in different countries.

ECTS has been adopted by most of the countries in the European Higher Education Area as the national credit system and is increasingly used elsewhere.

Is the Diploma accredited where I am?

You will be getting a European Diploma. Technically, this is recognized all over the world as a skills development undertaking.

If I want to continue my studies in a traditional school or University, can they accredited this Diploma and the courses that I took?

Traditional schools and Universities are independent institutions. They may or may not recognize the diploma issued by UNIES but it would serve its purpose to prove to the University how serious you are in your studies. We (ISASS & UNIES) can also provide the University/School you are applying for the necessary papers they might require to accredit some of the courses you took from us.

Can we get a job upon finishing the diploma?

Getting a job goes beyond presenting a diploma. The diploma will surely open new doors for you but it cannot guarantee a job placement. Even graduates of traditional learning institutions need to compete for a job. Landing your dream job would require academic qualification and credentials, experience and personal and professional skills. For sure you can get a job after finishing your studies with us, just be open minded enough that you need to also present your skills.

What do you mean by learner phase?

This means that we have designed our curriculum to fit the lifestyle of our learners. We will give you the assigned readings and assignment deadlines and then you work on them at your phase depending on your personal work schedule. Example: The deadline for a particular assignment is 2 weeks. If you want to finish the assignment in the first week so that you are free in the second week, you can.
